These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RivalSift ("we," "us," "our") and the services we provide. By using RivalSift, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

RivalSift provides automated competitive intelligence reports. We monitor publicly available competitor websites and use AI-powered analysis to deliver insights about pricing changes, feature updates, content strategy, hiring patterns, and social activity.

Accounts & Subscriptions

• You must provide accurate information when signing up.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Reports are generated from publicly available data and AI analysis (Claude by Anthropic). While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that any information in our reports is complete, current, or error-free. Reports are intended as supplementary intelligence — not as the sole basis for business decisions.

Intellectual Property

• Reports delivered to you are for your internal business use only.
• You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly publish RivalSift reports without our written permission.
• RivalSift retains ownership of its platform, methodology, and proprietary systems.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use RivalSift or its reports to:

• Harass, defame, or harm competitors or any third party
• Engage in any illegal activity
• Misrepresent report content as your own original research
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our systems or scraping infrastructure
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RivalSift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by canceling your subscription and emailing us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
